To my fellow Tribe members,

My name is Savin Shetty and I am the founder of Write Tribe. For the uninitiated, I have worked for over 12 years in the television & film industry as a screenwriter (IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7828163/) Over the course of the journey, I experienced what ailed the screenwriters in the industry. There just wasn’t enough talent entering the industry. The reasons were many – geographical, lack of transparency, few opportunities for new writers, poor pay and many more.

With the advent of OTT platforms, the need for new voices are glaring than ever. It has ushered in a massive demand for content. For the writers, the perfect storm has arrived – an acute demand for new content without the requisite supply of writing talent. And thus, Write Tribe was established.
